ODS Committees

The Oregon Data Share is managed by the Board of Managers and several committees. We believe that input from our customer MLSs and their participants and subscribers provides valuable and insightful feedback needed to ensure we are providing the best product and services!

Customer MLSs can serve on the Rules and Listing Input Committee and the Customer Engagement Committee as those committees impact the end user’s experience with our technology products. We believe this holistic approach to MLS provides the best experience for those involved. Check out these committees below!


Rules and Listing Input Committee

The Rules and Listing Input Committee is responsible for monitoring market trends, compliance issues, and industry innovations to continually evolve the rules and regulations and the listing input to best meet the needs of the participants and subscribers, as follows:

  • Additions/revisions of the rules and regulations as suggested/required by the National Association of REALTORS®

  • Additions/revisions of the rules and regulations based on customer/user suggestions

  • Periodic review of listing input requirements to best balance the needs of real estate agents and appraisers

  • Periodic review of listing input requirements to proactively avoid litigation or governmental regulation

Customer Engagement Committee

The Customer Engagement Committee is responsible for ensuring the technology, support, training, and compliance efforts are focused on continually improving the engagement and satisfaction with technologies provided by ODS, as follows:

  • Provide feedback tools and resources to ODS partners and customer MLSs to use with their participants and subscribers

  • Monitor engagement and satisfaction of training

  • Evaluate potential new technologies to be offered

  • Periodically evaluate all MLS and public records software systems to stay current on core MLS technologies innovations and trends.
