Data Delivery Overview
At Oregon Data Share, we believe it is our role to provide top-notch data access and delivery for vendors for the participants and subscribers of our customer MLSs. We make the data delivery process as easy as possible for brokers and agents who want to display listings on their websites and for brokers who want to distribute listings to third-party websites.
Oregon Data Share has migrated to an API-only data delivery model and sunset using the antiquated RETs program. We also worked closely with our vendor to streamline and automate the data licensing process, empowering developers and saving the MLS staff time going back and forth with vendors for approval.
RESO CERTIFIED DATA
The Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) is an independent, nonprofit standards body formed to develop data standards and processes that create efficiencies for all participants in real estate transactions. RESO member organizations include MLSs, brokerages, REALTOR® associations, and technology partners serving nearly two million real estate professionals. RESO’s mission is to create and promote the adoption and use of standards that drive efficiency throughout the real estate industry. Their vision is a streamlined real estate technology industry.
Oregon Data Share ensures that our database is as close to a RESO-native database as possible to provide ease of use for vendors and best-of-class products and websites for participants and subscribers of our customer MLSs.
SPARK API AND RESO WEB API
Our partner at FBS (FlexMLS) provides Oregon Data Share with the Spark® API and their RESO® Web API to standardize MLS data while streamlining and automating the data licensing process for the MLS. This empowers developers to create best-of-class apps and websites for brokers and agents.
We believe this superior technology is just another way our customer MLS strengthens its value and benefits its participants and subscribers. Check out the advantages of the Spark® API and RESO® Web API over RETs.
