Who We Are

Several years ago, the Cascades East Multiple Listing Service, the Southern Oregon Multiple Listing Service, and the Klamath County Association of REALTORS® joined forces to explore new ways to better serve their members. Their goal was to provide cutting-edge tools to help real estate professionals advance their careers and deliver superior service to clients. To achieve this, they formed a separate LLC—Oregon Data Share (ODS)—which offers a shared MLS database, joint rules and regulations, and a suite of technology benefits.

Oregon Data Share is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions tailored to the multiple listing service industry. Rather than pursuing full MLS consolidation, ODS was created as an alternative that leverages economies of scale and shared resources while preserving the autonomy and revenue streams of local MLSs. As your wholesale technology partner, ODS serves as the strategic intermediary between MLSs and technology vendors, delivering enhanced value through collective strength. We have fundamentally reimagined the MLS technology relationship—empowering local MLSs to maintain their identity while benefiting from the efficiency and power of shared resources.

Our Difference

Oregon Data Share (ODS) provides wholesale MLS technology solutions directly to Multiple Listing Services (MLSs) seeking superior products and services. Real estate licensees do not join ODS directly; instead, they remain members of their local MLS. Our mission is to strengthen the ability of local MLSs to serve their members by delivering best-in-class technology, operational support, and cost-saving opportunities—while preserving each MLS’s unique identity and financial independence.

ODS operates as a wholesale technology vendor, bundling MLS products and services to leverage joint purchasing power. Rather than MLSs negotiating individually with vendors, ODS enables them to access better pricing and more comprehensive solutions through collective membership. Each MLS continues to collect fees directly from its participants and subscribers, ensuring financial stability while benefiting from the economies of scale that ODS provides. Our bundled service model delivers three key advantages:

  • Cost Efficiency – Lower MLS technology expenditures through collective purchasing and reduced overhead costs.

  • Data Accuracy & Access – Streamlined data management, eliminating fragmentation while ensuring compliance.

  • Enterprise-Level Support – Access to specialized staff for data integrity, compliance, education, and communication—resources that would be cost-prohibitive for individual MLSs.

Beyond technology, ODS empowers MLSs with scalable, cutting-edge solutions that streamline operations, enhance the end-user experience, and reduce administrative burdens. Our commitment to excellence, collaboration, and innovation ensures that MLSs and their members benefit from sustainable solutions, shared resources, and state-of-the-art technology. By integrating advanced data management, seamless connectivity, and superior customer support, ODS helps MLSs remain competitive, compliant, and financially secure in an evolving real estate landscape.

Our Structure

The Oregon Data Share is owned by the Cascades East MLS, the Southern Oregon MLS, and the Klamath County Association of REALTORS®. The data share is governed by the ODS Board of Managers, comprised of members from the three owners. The Board of Managers is responsible for running the organization's business. The organization has three committees: the Rules and Listing Input Committee, the Customer Engagement Committee, and the Finance Committee. ODS customers receive seats on committees as their decisions impact all the users of the MLS system and the technology products we provide.
